INTRODUCTION
The province of Pursat, bordered to the west by Thailand, covers an area of nearly 12,700 km², bordering on the east of the Tonle Sap, occupied in the west by the massive chain of Cardamoms which s' also extends over the province of Koh Kong and Kampot.
Its prefecture, Pursat, is located on National Road 5 which leads to Battambang.
