Preah Vihear Province is located in the northeastern part of the Kingdom of Cambodia, located at a distance of 294 km (Km) from Phnom Penh. Tbeng Meanchey is the provincial capital of Preah Vihear Province, established in 1982 until February 25, 2009. Tbeng Meanchey was renamed Preah Vihear on May 17, 2009.
