INTRODUCTION
The province of Siem Reap, covers approximately 10,300 km², north-east of Tonlé Sap. The eponymous prefecture, the starting point for visiting the temples of Angkor, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is approximately 350 km from the capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh.
